Harry Styles pokes fun at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor with scathing joke during his SNL monologue after the disgraced ex-Prince was arrested amid Epstein files probe

Harry Styles launched a pointed jab at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor during his recent Saturday Night Live performance, following the ex-Prince’s arrest last month. The 32-year-old musician made a comeback for his second appearance on the NBC sketch comedy show, following the success of his fourth studio album.

During his opening remarks, Styles humorously addressed his extended hiatus from the public eye, joking that he’d grown “exceptionally dull” in comparison to the royal’s recent scandal. He remarked, “I’ve taken up jogging. It’s unexciting, but since I’m Harry, people act like it’s fascinating. I run for the euphoria, not for attention. That runner’s high? Simply remarkable.”

Styles also took aim at politically correct fans who accused him of “queerbaiting,” a term he defined as a public relations tactic involving subtle hints at same-sex relationships to appeal to both gay audiences and those with traditional views. “Back then, people seemed to pay a lot of attention to the clothes I was wearing and some people accused me of something called ‘queerbaiting,’” he said, adding in a comically melodramatic howl: “But did it ever occur to you that maybe you don’t know everything about me, Dad?”

Last month, the eighth-in-line to the throne was detained on charges of public office misconduct, accused of sharing confidential details with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a UK trade envoy. After being removed from the Royal Lodge due to his Epstein connections, Andrew was taken into custody at his Wood Farm cottage on the Sandringham Estate on his 66th birthday as part of an inquiry into alleged public office misconduct. He remained at Aylsham Police Station for approximately 10 hours before being released just before 7 p.m.

It is thought that the UK government may pass laws to strip Andrew of his royal succession status amid the ongoing scandal that has stripped him of his titles. During his monologue, an image of Andrew in a police vehicle following his arrest was shown, adding a visual punch to his verbal critique.

Styles concluded with a playful kiss to his co-star Ben Marshall, who had been referenced during a flirtatious segment about his new solo album, Kiss All the Time. The moment, described as “disco, occasionally,” had the audience in stitches as Styles quipped, “What’s better than kissing all the time? Nothing, really.”

“I don’t wanna kiss all the time,” Styles then said, apparently taking no notice of Fineman, who slunk off crestfallen.

His co-star Sarah Sherman then took the stage as Styles said that “sometimes kissing can be great,” only for her to then leave abashed as he clarified: “you know, if you’re really good at it and you’re a good person.” Styles added: “Or if you have a tight little bum,” at which point Ben Marshall strolled onstage, where he was greeted by Styles, who asked: “What are you doing here?”
