Murder Charge Over Primrose Hill Stabbing

Arrest and Charges

A 21-year-old man, Finbar Sullivan, was fatally stabbed in Primrose Hill and has since been charged with murder. The incident occurred near a viewing area in north London on Tuesday. Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, from Southbury Road in Enfield, was arrested on Friday and formally accused of murder on Sunday. He is set to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Victim’s Background and Family Reaction

Sullivan, a film student at the London Screen Academy, was remembered by loved ones as a bright and influential figure. His father, Chris Sullivan, 65, shared his grief with BBC London, calling him “Fin,” a name cherished by friends and family. “All of his friends said he was the light, the leader. His friends’ parents loved him. This is why it’s so tragic,” he stated.

Second Injured Man

Officers also discovered a second man, in his 20s, with stab wounds on Regent’s Park Road nearby. He was hospitalized but his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. The Metropolitan Police noted that the investigation is still active, with a 25-year-old suspect previously arrested for aiding the offender now released without further action.
