Murder arrest over fatal Primrose Hill stabbing
A 27-year-old man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing in the Primrose Hill area. The incident occurred on Tuesday, when officers found the body of 21-year-old Finbar Sullivan with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police also detained a 25-year-old man for allegedly assisting the suspect. Both individuals are currently in police custody following their arrest on Friday.

Det Insp Andy Griffin remarked: “My thoughts remain with Finbar’s family, who are receiving ongoing support from specialized officers during this profoundly challenging period. “Although we have made two arrests, my team continues to operate without interruption to identify all parties involved.”
Griffin acknowledged the assistance of the public in providing information and urged anyone with additional details or footage from the area on the day of the attack to contact the authorities. He also noted that residents can anticipate a heightened police presence as local officers maintain continuous patrols in Primrose Hill and surrounding neighborhoods.
