Primrose Hill Stab Victim ‘Can Never Be Replaced’
A 21-year-old film student who died in a stabbing near Primrose Hill has been described by his father as irreplaceable. Finbar Sullivan, who was killed in a confrontation close to the park’s scenic overlook, succumbed to his injuries shortly after 6:30 PM BST on Tuesday. His father, Christopher Sullivan, shared his grief with the Daily Mail, highlighting that Finbar was his sole child and had aspirations to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps as a cameraman.
“This is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine,” said Sullivan, 65, of his son’s untimely death. He added that Finbar was “a beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy” who had recently celebrated his birthday with a camera gifted to him.
Sullivan noted that his son was not associated with gangs but was passionate about cinema and filmmaking. Finbar was a student at the London Screen Academy and had created music videos for drill rap artists under the pseudonym Sully Shot It, according to the Daily Mail. Ellen Kinnally, a friend and PR professional from New York, revealed to The Times that Finbar had been unwell before the incident, with his health worsening and affecting his vision.
“He’d gotten very ill recently and everyone was so worried about him,” Kinnally said. “It impacted his eyesight, but he was showing signs of improvement. He was a visual person.”
During the altercation on Tuesday, a second individual in his early twenties sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds and was hospitalized. The Metropolitan Police is now appealing for witnesses, photographs, or video footage from the scene. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
